Communities Conference
June 27-29, 2008
The conference will cost this year. It's $40/person for the whole weekend or $25/day. Married couples can come for $75. Besides the teaching and workshops which are described at rosecreekvillage.com, there will be a corporate meal at our assembly hall and dinner provided in village homes.
The conference is awesome. I've been to a lot of conferences, and I have no problems telling you that you'll be hearing some of the most practical and powerful teaching you've ever heard and that the fellowship will be awesome. I cannot promise that you will be made to feel awesome. If you're wanting to give up your life and live in whole-hearted abandon to Christ, you will find everything a breath of fresh air, and you will have your hope for the church renewed. You will meet people who are living the corporate life of Christ, bringing it to the whole world, and who are risking their lives to do so. You will hear speakers teaching on subjects that are being used and put to the test in real life every day.
You will experience the warmth and love of God being lived out. You will get to see homes where wives share kitchens, dads learn to get along on a daily basis, and children respect and follow their parents yet live in freedom, joy, and creativity.
This conference is not about theory. It is about going forward. It is about shared successes, and it is about leaving behind what doesn't work.
